Notorious for creating bacon and egg ice cream, chef Heston Blumenthal unveiled the world’s largest ice cream cone, complete with a monster flake.

More than a ton of ice cream was used to fill up the 13-foot cone, which was even topped off with thousands of sprinkles and strawberry sauce using a catapult…but as you can see, most of it failed to stick.

The exact ingredients are a closely guarded secret, but it looks like plain vanilla to me… I would have expected something more exotic from Blumenthal – Essence of escargot perhaps?
